This privacy policy applies to the TM Pocket Assistant iOS app, also described in the app as Transport Manager Pocket Assistant. It explains what information the app handles and how that information is used.
Information the app stores
The app can store information that you choose to add, including qualification details, document details, imported certificate or document files, notes and saved favourites.
This information is stored locally within the app's private storage on your device. It is used only to provide the features you select, such as viewing, organising and sharing your own files.
Information collected by the developer
The current version of TM Pocket Assistant does not create user accounts and does not transmit your stored documents, qualifications, notes, favourites or search questions to the developer. The app does not include third-party advertising, analytics or tracking software.
Sharing
The app includes sharing controls. A file, visual guide or text is shared only when you choose a destination using Apple's share sheet. The selected destination may have its own privacy terms. You should check that information is suitable before sharing it.
External links
The app includes fixed links to official guidance, including GOV.UK pages. Opening a link leaves the app and is subject to the privacy practices of the website you visit.
Data retention and deletion
Locally stored documents and qualifications remain on your device until you delete them in the app or remove the app. You can remove individual stored items using the delete controls provided. Deleting the app removes its locally stored app data, subject to any separate device backup retained through your Apple settings.
Security and backups
Files are placed in the app's private local storage. You remain responsible for securing your device and keeping separate copies of important original documents. Do not treat the app as your only document backup.
Children
TM Pocket Assistant is a professional transport-management reference tool and is not designed for children.
